I'm more interested that photons can pass through space without moving.

Funny you should say that; I'm reading Robert Anton Wilson's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Anton_Wilson) infamous classic findmuck (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mind@%) trilogy "Schrodinger's Cat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger%27s_cat)". The glossary at the end explains a dozen or so quantum mechanics phrases and theories (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpretation_of_quantum_mechanics#Summary_of_common_interpretations_of_QM) in very simple, easy to understand terms... just to get your hopes up before you read the novel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger%27s_Cat_Trilogy) itself and start hurting your brain... :P
It's on my book hit list, that's for sure.
