I suggest taking a look at the last few Two Minute Papers (https://www.youtube.com/c/K%C3%A1rolyZsolnai/videos) videos on Dall-E 2 and Imagen.

I have played around with some of the mini ones and dream app on iOS but they are disappointing when you compare them to the results that Dall-E 2 and Imagen are now getting.
