Well, I remember when we got switched over to Mojang accounts, too. Maybe it's just because I'm not fully awake yet, but what is the harm in requiring a Microsoft account for a Microsoft-owned game, that they couldn't do otherwise?

1. It forces users to sign up to Microsoft if they don't have one already

2. How do users with multiple accounts link to a single Microsoft sign in?

I just have a bad feeling about this in general though. Is the clock ticking for Java edition?
