Yeah, Lucky / Stewie found a few things missing, but not too much.  But they made random entrances and exits and he shook his head about why they made their own door three blocks over from the door to his house.

I spent some time doing basic fixes today.

- went through my railway and fixed missing fences and dirt blocks (also changed up the signage)
- went through my giant wheat farm and replanted it: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-15/64/592/max/0/0
- went through Lucky's skyscraper and replaced windows and stone bricks, also replanted wheat for him
- fixed the hole in Lucky's cathedral
- fixed the holes in Lucky's house and storehouse
- fixed the waterfall in the moose; ladders on two of the legs are completely gone
- fixed the waterfall in the raised biodome; clearly the griefer just wanted a quick way down
- fixed holes in "Roy's Residence"; I think this is Spectre's place?
- fixed some more holes in buildings near spawn
- rode the subway and replaced missing rails and roof blocks to stop waterfalls; beach station is messed up - the empty cart detector doesn't work so I kept ending up in the cart in the pez dispenser, and there's a wall/door missing at this entrance here: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/209/64/309/max/0/0
- fixed the hole in Tom's cabin here: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/559/64/262/max/0/0
- planted some trees on SkyCity (nothing's broken up there, but I planted some more wheat, too)
- had a look at the NPC village Bag0Bones made; it's pretty destroyed, and looks like it was TNTed
- had a look at the NPC prison / iron grinder; things have been messed up a bit, and there's a couple obvious noob towers from when the griefer fell in the trap
- not sure if this pathway/staircase was made by the griefer or Bag0Bones: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/286/64/449/max/0/0

I also took a look at where aethun's cottage used to be: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/137/64/194/max/0/0.  Up close, you can clearly see it was TNTed, and the griefer left a sign (see attached).

There's still more things to fix, but the most important is probably the Beach Station pez dispenser and the Unethical Iron village and trap.  After that'll be individual players' buildings.

Man, thanks for this Thorin, but jeez people are jerks aren't they?

Yeah, and if it's who I think it was, then it's a couple of typical 13-14 year olds being little @%&#s.

The things I fixed only took a couple of hours and made things work again (other than the Beach Station automatic minecart dispenser and empty minecart sensor).

I'm thinking of rebuilding that station, maybe using some tripwires or something

Looks like YellowBear_ and BMan_C are missing a stack of diamonds, so I'm gifting them that.

Rebuilding that station is a good idea.  If you come up with a standard design, then that could be copied for all the stations (although the other ones work, so we can leave 'em as is).

Tripwires are fun, hey?

Good man :)

Yeah tripwires ARE fun, in fact I set up a little tripwire trap yesterday, so be careful in the LOB Industries building: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/506/64/-64/max/0/0

Also started rebuilding my dockyard: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/470/64/-186/max/0/0

So far I have one crane, not sure if I'm going to build more, I may extend the docks a bit further East as well.

I have to rebuild the ship which is going to take a while I think, I also have to build a warehouse district.

Be very careful around this place during rainstorms for some reason this area is a lightning magnet.

That crane looks so cool, man, nice job.

I didn't notice at first - there's a parking lot added there, as well as a couple more buildings hiding behind the highrises!  Geez, you build fast.

Yeah I really wanted to fill that spot with something and I wasn't feeling so hot on Sunday (or was it Saturday?).

#26
I roamed from Frontier Hotel to Spawn City to Edge City all the way to WMNR Radio, looking for cows.  I found one roaming loose, and a few more up on The Moose.  However, I couldn't figure out how to get them down without killing them.  At one point I found another indication of the griefer (I think) - see attached screenshots.  After more than two hours of roaming, I finally went back to Frontier Hotel and gifted myself some cow spawn eggs.  Two for my barn (where there used to be eight cows), two for YellowBear's barn (where there used to be six cows), and one for Derek's underground menagerie (where there was still one cow).

I had released a bunch of animals, including over a dozen cows, into the wild a while ago.  There's lots of pigs, sheep, and chickens, but no cows.  My guess is the griefer killed them to eat them, since steak gives so much hunger back.  That's why I felt it was okay to /give some cow spawn eggs; I was pretty sure these cows hadn't all been absconded by a non-griefing player.

Anyway, I hope to reintroduce cows to the wild again, once I have eight or ten.

Oh, I also found several spots in DerekVPierce's railway that appear to have been griefed (water spilling over the underground tracks, I'm sure he didn't do that himself), as well as places in Spawn City (the glass fire spire, for one).

Oh two, I also changed some signs to include [-] at the bottom, both in the Overworld and the Nether, so they show up on the Overviewer.

Wolves also kill cows. I thought animals randomly respawned over time?

I think, but not sure, that friendlies take a long while to repopulate.

Also, every time this thread pops back up I think it's happened again...

Animal spwning is painfully slow AND rare in the current Minecraft, sort of like the biome spawning seems to favor water biome
