This is my prefered Torrent client as the daemon version is very stable and lite on resources but at the same time it has nice remote front ends.

Probably don't want to jump on this right away but exciting since it has been so many years since the last major / minor release.

I'm still using Deluge for my automated system VMs, so will be nice to be able to move away.  The previous version on Windows didn't have all the functionality I wanted in a way I wanted it, so am looking forward to see how this one works.

I am keeping an eye on it and hoping they start releasing more frequently.

I run my setup as a two part system

1. I run transmission daemon on my NAS in a docker https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/transmission/
2. On desktop  I run Transmission Remote GUI https://github.com/transmission-remote-gui/transgui it behaves like a desktop client supporting .torrent files and magnet links but executes everything remotly.. It has a nice network drive mapping function so the save as dialog box will translate your local path to a path on the server if you have it setup as a share.

I keep my Torrent & NZB client with my download client all contained in a VM dedicated.  So I have a few Torrent & NZB clients running at my house on various VMs.
