If we can hit that bull's-eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate!
More good news (http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/back_to_the_futurama_entertainment_don_kaplan.htm), everyone!

17. Hey, everyone. I'm John DiMaggio, I'm the voice of Bender on the show, and yes it's true: WE'RE COMING BACK! Billy, Katey, Maurice, and myself (as well as the other cast members) are looking forward to (mid-to-late) July to start getting into the studio and record new episodes. Thanks for all the support and digging the show all these years! Bite my shiny metal ass!! And I'm out!!!!!!!!

Zoidberg: Hooray!
Fry: A round of Slurm for everybody!
Hermes: Keep the empty cans everyone, we must recover the recycling deposit!
Leela: Can the writers please have Zapp Brannigan lost in a wormhole or something?
Kif: Agreed!
Amy: How big does a worm have to be to get lost in its hole?
Bender: No more beer for you, toots. Hand it over!
Woot! Again proving that fox execs have their heads [edited for adults]way up their asses[/edited for adults]. Now if only we can get Firefly back, my work as a couch potato will be complete.
Gosh! Looks like Al Gore will gladly keep providing his montone,.,df..
his monotone voicek,dml;fd.s.../
sorry, I kept drifting off as I replayed some Gore episodes in my mind...
Mr. "Shoulda been prez but instead I grew a beard" is clearly still "on good terms" with the Futurama gang:

Update: It seems that some of these articles got some things confused. The 4 DVD movies which we reported about a few days ago will eventually be shown as 4 episodes each on Comedy Central. This makes the number of episodes 16, not 13. But as I understand it, there is no other new content other than those movies.

Looks like the gang is all here -- including not just the voices, but also the creative minds behind the genius of the series.
HOO-RAY! I'll take eight!
Again, from the horse's mouth (allegedly) (http://www.gotfuturama.com/cgi-bin/Comments.cgi?action=show&NewsID=1170177888,57221&Page=1):
Quote
"I was frustrated when it got cancelled, but Fox, 20th Television is the one who came back and said, 'Would you like to do a DVD movie?'" Groening recalled. We said, 'Let's do two' and they said, 'Well, why not three?' and we said, 'Well, why not four?' and they said, 'Okay, four' and then that's it."
After this, Comedy Central won a bid to air the films as new "Futurama" episodes. "We're writing them as movies and then we're going to chop them up, reconfigure them, write new material and try to make them work as separate episodes. Chopped up is an indelicate way of putting it but we are doing them as movies and then we are reconfiguring them and writing new material and narration and this that and the other so that they'll stand on their own as episodes."
Looks like this is "DVD movie #1"?
I thought Futurama was supposed to come back sooner than "Christmas 2007" :o Bah. All my hopes up. >:(
Can't wait babeh!
