okay not the most famous quote, but upon hearing of his death (at age 62!) I immediately thought of his over the top scenery chewing in "Time Cop" and half-thought "did he die by running into a future version of himself"?

Okay, bad taste, sorry. The guy played villains, but he was capable of far more than that. EW has a blurb with some clips. The cause was cancer, btw, a 2 year battle apparently. More commentaries and tributes will surely follow in the next few days.

Yeesh, not only was he the villain in "The Arrival" (a surprisingly good "alien invasion" movie with Charlie Sheen -- seriously, decent acting and intriguing plot!) but also in the hit TV series with Jack Black and Owen Wilson known fondly worldwide as "Heat Vision and Jack" (his most famous role*)
