I feel like some action movies. I'm sure I've missed a few the past few years, but I can't seem to find many that stand out (that I haven't already seen).

Anyone got some suggestions?
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

Thorin

Ones that I've watched that I liked that I think are fairly recent or you haven't seen them yet:

Fury
Hot Fuzz
Ironclad (lots of gore)
Kick Ass
Kingsman
Expendables
We Were Soldiers

9    - not "Nine", which is the number spelled out, but "9", which is about puppets come to life in an apocalyptic world; GOOD LUCK FINDING IT
District 9
Edge of Tomorrow
Elysium
Fast & Furious 76 or whatever
Fearless   - slow to start but hella good fight choreography
Hercules   - the one with The Rock in it
Pacific Rim
Scott Pilgrim?
The 13th Warrior
World War Z

Any good suggestions you might try in there?

I've been looking through movies already, and based on your (Thorin's) list:

I've seen:
Kick Ass
Pacific Rim

Going to see:
Hot Fuzz
Expendables
Elysium
F&F (maybe)
The 13th warrior

A few I found:
Django
Inception
Lego Movie
Edge of Tommorow

I'll look at the rest soon :)

Mr. Analog

Dirty Harry
LEON: The Professional
Big Trouble in Little China
Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels
The Guns of Navarone
The Man Who Would Be King
The Untouchables
300
Kingdom of Heaven

Lotsa good stuff

That's funny, the Lego Movie doesn't really fit in this category, but it's definitely worth a watch!

Also, Mr. A., those are some pretty old titles...

I was searching for Action/Adventure, and several lists suggest Lego ;)

To be honest, I really felt like watching good old dumb action flicks. Stuff like Bourne, Ocean's, F&F, Mission Impossible, Die Hard, etc.

Yes? And?

I'm going to bet Tom hasn't seen Dirty Harry which is a surprisingly good movie

Also for zombie moves utterly skip "World War Z" (definitely NOT based on the comic of the same name) and check out the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead (WAY better even if you don't like zombie movies)

Another one which I recommend is the original Rocky, which is more about introversion than boxing

I'm pretty sick of zombie all around.

I /think/ I've seen Dirty Harry, but it would have been YEARS ago.

I've seen a lot of zombie movies the only one worth watching is the 1978 Dawn of the Dead, don't write it off

No you said you had missed a few in the past years, also FFS I gave a mixed list unless 2005 is "pretty old"

and I appreciate it :) I'm working my way down the list.

Though I have to say, I watched a good part of 300 when i was in the Philippines, and man was it weird. not what i expected in the least.

Yeah 300 is a classic Sword & Sa ndals movie, I was surprised when it came out in 2006. Wasn't expecting it

Another movie you may like is Bullitt. It's sort of like the prototype of many action movies.

The French Connection is also good for the final showdown, the same thing with HEAT

Again, I tried to make a list of stuff that are action that you would like and probably hadn't seen

In conclusion watch Leon the Professional
