Okay, you have to poke through the pictures to really get how thin that damn thing is.  Although I don't think it's really 5mm deep, as there's a large box at the bottom that at first seems to just be part of the stand, but on further inspection has some wires going to it as well, so that's probably where the electronics are stored.

However you are right, but that could just be the VESA mount and a hollow cover.... need to wait and see.
