So I found this link on HardOCP today, and thought I should check it out.

Didn't really have much on it, but one caught my eye.  Hotbar's Letter to this Company is kinda funny, but when you compare it to their Response it becomes a very laughable matter.

We have run into Hotbar at our company, and find it to be one of the worst programs for decemanting {sp?} a computer system over time, and would definately consider it a form of Spyware, Adware, or Malware.

And some more info on the Hotbar letters: http://www.thundercloud.net/infoave/truth-rant.htm

Interesting that Lavasoft caved to their demands... kinda lowers my resolve in Ad-aware's abilities.

 Now here's something worth investigating:

QuoteHotbar is the very same company that prohibited those living in Utah from downloading their software after Utah passed its strong anti-spyware legislation.
