Current record is the standardized 15 meters wall in ... under 6 seconds (!)

I feel out of breath just watching some of these runs :)
Part of a series by WIRED called "Almost Impossible"**.
In this week's episode, the host going in cold took 45 minutes to solve a Rubik's Cube ... then after 2 weeks of daily practicing what he learned in a single session from an expert ... got it down to 1.5 minutes (!)

That speed wall climbing is insanely fast.
I can do a regular 3x3 Rubik's cube in about a minute. About five minutes for the 4x4, about twelve minutes for the 5x5. My cubes don't have any special lubrication to make it easier, though.
Given my offices relationship with climbing I have seen those speed wall runs a few times.. It is crazy.
