May we all move closer to this ideal as the years add up...

^ "After I learned more, my view on the specific situation changed. It's pretty normal for my opinions to develop with the facts.

Of course, I know that choosing my opinion based upon the facts is unusual on the internet. I recognise that most people choose facts based upon their opinion - I'm not one of them."

I was confused here, until I realized the last two paragraphs were actually you just quoting the single post that you linked to, not actually you stating that your opinions develop with the facts.  Maybe put the quoted text in quotation marks or a quote tag?

And yes, it would be nice if people didn't insta-judge and form a hard opinion that they'll never change before they know any of the details of a subject or topic.

Yeah sorry for the confusion.

I updated OP to clarify that I was quoting; my norm is to post link + quoted text (because using [ quote ] feature of the forum uses smaller, harder-to-read text) unless I am also offering my own specific thoughts/opinion re. what I am sharing. (Which, you should have learned by now, is actually NOT most of the time).

But hey look, for real, here's a great, and easy, litmus test...
