So will Xbox360 have a guitar controller for Guitar Hero II?

And I dunno if there's anything worth getting on the Wii list this month...  I think Wii Play came out last month, that's the newest Wii game I'm interested in.  Any other good games for the Wii, anyone?

I thought they REPEATEDLY said that it would NOT be wireless because MS isn't licensing its proprietary wireless tech.

EB doesn't specify, but in the comments someone agrees that it is wired. Too bad.

Yeah, although I've seen both reviews with Wired and Wireless.  Last one I read (most recent arcticle I could find - a month ago) said Wireless.  So I figured that was what it was going to be.  Either way, it comes with a Guitar, wired or wireless.

MS requries anyone that produces a 360 accessory to be licensed - whether its wireless or not.  Besides that the developer would also have to be partnered with MS already to get the code for the game signed and published or it wouldn't run on a 360.

Well according to this review after Guitar Hero II release: http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/guitar-hero-2/778081p2.html

To start, the weird angled shape of the X-Plorer may prove awkward to hold, especially sitting down. The guitar is about 2 inches shorter than the SG models, and has a thinner neck, so it takes some getting used to if you've spent any time playing the PS2 version of the game. It's also worth noting that the guitar is wired, so you'll need to stay within 8-10 feet of your 360.
