A subject so odd that you just had to check to see what was inside this thread eh?

Eragon is stinking it up in the reviews.  I recall seeing a preview for this a month back and i could only shake my head.  Is this a new type of genre trying to be defined the "pre/early teen epic"?

...on the flip side Charlotte's Web is looking pretty good.  Such fond memories of reading that book in Elementary school.  Is Dakota Fanning ever going to age?!

I saw a rather funny review of Eragon the other day. The review took his kids whom had read the book. Apparrently it drove his 11 yr old to tears because they totally screwed the story up.

My daughter's been bugging me for a month now that she wants to go see that movie   Oh, and Dakota Fanning is only twelve.  Give it some time, she'll start puberty in the next couple of years and no longer play the little-girl roles.  Just like Drew Barrymore many moons ago.

She is only 12?  Wow.  I though I remembered movies from longer ago with her in it, but I checked IMDB and she has only been active very active for the last few years.
