Possibly one of the stranger Christmas stories. I remembered part of it from when I was a kid and only through the power of the internet have confirmed I am not crazy and that it exists.

Exactly, however this one seems to be in very rare rotation, unlike Rudolf and Frosty.

There is a newer version that was made in 2000, I don't like it as much, still have a copy of the stop motion one in my collection.

Man, I have a soft spot for those old Rankin/Bass stop motion flicks.

Funny story, Billie Mae Richards (the voice of Rudolph) is a Canadian voice acting GOD, if you heard a female voice in a Canadian cartoon chances are it was her.
