Uh, diamonds, gold, iron, lotsa coal and redstone, lapis, a couple of lava lakes that almost killed me, and a huge amount of experience that let me enchant two more picks at top level.

Sweet :D

Somewhat OT.. I spent some time today trying to get MC working on my media box. Turns out AMD dropped support for the Radeon HD 3200 in the newer drivers months ago, so I was stuck with an older driver, that seems to be buggy, and performance is @%&# at 1080p with this gpu :( I'd say its about on par with my laptop's intel graphics, which is funny. Also its ability to do tear free graphics suuuuccckkkkssss.

I wonder what this is gonna end up being: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-1232/64/-559/-1/0/0

I should know since I'm building it, but I don't really know yet :P

edit: and viewed from the other side: http://tomasu.org:8123/?worldname=righteouswrath&mapname=surface&zoom=6&x=-1287&y=64&z=-531

bwah, i didn't know you could do that with the viewer!

Built out that wall a little, since the server came back online until Tom can find a better way to clean up the map: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-1236/64/-566/max/0/0 + http://tomasu.org:8123/?worldname=righteouswrath&mapname=surface&zoom=6&x=-1300&y=64&z=-540

And I added an interior building to Castle Moo Hal: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-1477/64/-349/max/0/0

I like the towers you added, ooh what's in that brick building?

Nothin' in the brick building yet, I figured it was just for one of the castle dwellers.  Could make it into a smithy, or a storehouse?

The wall looks a lot better with the towers and the crenellations - and those towers have about ten floors inside them so I might put in some barracks or something.  I'm wondering whether I should switch out all the smooth stone for stone bricks, though.  Do the towers look weird with the stone bricks for the top part and smooth stone for the rest?

Oh, and obviously I need to add some windows :)  And I want to add a gravel path on the other side, too, but I'll have to remove the iron bars and put in iron doors so people can get through.

Ooh yeah! A forge is a brilliant idea, especially with the upcoming changes!

In fact we could set up stalls for shops and stuff.

I do like the idea of adding some variety to the wall, perhaps some brick supports on the outside?

brick or stone brick?  You can't really see it in the viewers, but on the wilderness side the wall actually has upside-down stairs as a cantilever idea, so the top sticks out a bit from the wall.

A smithy with furnaces and an anvil would be awesome, although most smithies had open fronts to let the heat out so I might need to re-arrange it a bit :)  a couple more stalls for shops would be good, although they should all be in the outer courtyard, I think.

A small village just outside the castle would be nice, too.  Is it possible to have villagers spawn from nothing, or do you need to have two villagers and breed them?  Maybe Lazy could weigh in with all his villager knowledge :)

I like stone brick for larger buildings, red bricks look better on smaller structures in most texture packs (IMO anyway, I've never been able to collect enough clay to find out)

The only place villagers spawn is villages and to get villagers to a location is to either spawn them as an op or push them (or minecarts).

I don't know if they breed once moved from a village either as I think their "role" is based on the generated house they were spawned in.

Move castle to Village?

It would be possible with Tekkit :D

They are not impossible to move, infact if it is over land you can do it by making a trail of doors and dirt or minecarts. A fishing pole to pull them to a spot also helps..

They will breed as long as you have two and have enough doors around... with some basic structure rules met.

Only BIG problem with villagers is that they come with random ZOMBIE rush spaws that break the light rules, IE at night you will get a sudden appearance of LOTS of zombies at your doors.

So I re-did the towers using stone brick, and the tops are flared out a bit.  I think it looks pretty good now.  Boy howdy, it's more impressive when you're in the game than when you're looking at it from Overviewer, though.  Also, I think you can see part of the castle from one of the towers!
