I dunno I've built some near impossible things already!
Who's up for a scale replica of the NCC-1701 (no bloody A, B, C or D)? ;)

Haha to do that we'd need to dig down to bedrock I think

There are client side mods that allow editing the map en-mass iirc.

Like World Edit

It's more impressive when you've had to mine every block by hand while avoiding creeper explosions (or alternately used in-game resources like creepers to blast away the blocks).

Since we're running Bukkit, if you want a creative world why not just add another world, then create a little linking world, and create a portal at/near spawn that allows travel to/from the linking world (and another one that allows travel to/from the linking world and the creative world)?  See http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/107097/how-do-i-create-multiple-worlds

Yeah, we could add extra dimensions.

Ooh extra dimensions!  I can finally build that tesseract I've always wanted

Our latest member, DrCoconut971, is actively building up near Lucky's New Old Kingdom (makes sense since they're friends).  Coco's got quite a bit done already since joining at the start of this weekend:

Always interesting to see what people first build - this one's a nice-sized above-ground house out of stone bricks, and it looks like there's going to be a second storey with wood trim.

I live how most peoples' first build is a big block made of the same material heh!

Thanks! My favourite part is that when you are up there and there are lots of clouds the "pilings" on the bridges look like they go into cloudy water :)

It's pretty well perfect :)

Now I have to start designing zeppelins again, ones that don't suck!

Buildin' me a new office building: http://mc.tomasu.org/#/-71/64/628/max/0/0

smooth stone, stone brick, nether brick, brick (the regular red kind), and lots of glass.

Here's some screenshots, rather than just the Overviewer link.  I used the Faithful32 texture pack for the first three, and the Sphax PureBDCraft 128x texture pack for the last two.
