I'm sure many of you have heard mention of it lately, but the above is a video with Jamie Oliver showing a bunch of school kids (and their parents) exactly WHAT it is.

(ps: "peer pressure" works when it comes from CONSUMERS/PR firms: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_slime#Abstention_and_product_divestment )

I think I know where that clip came from.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Oliver%27s_Food_Revolution

or

http://www.jamieoliver.com/jamies-ministry-of-food/

I didn't even know of their existence ... until I was reading the Wikipedia page for a South Park episode that I somehow have never seen until today (and on that subject, it's spring time and that means Season 16 has started already (didn't realize that until just now as well (I like brackets (parenthesis) ) ) ).

I'm surprised you're not an academic then. You'd enjoy Lisp.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

Thorin

LISP = thinking in lists!

(if (= (car (cadr (car (cadr (car (caddr :somevar:))))))(progn (defvar :othervar: :somevar:)))

Spot the syntax error and the logical error.  GOOD LUCK!

You know, AutoLISP was cool n' all, but man it was hard to follow parentheses!
Prayin' for a 20!

gcc thorin.c -pedantic -o Thorin
compile successful

The above reminds me of my short time at UofA, one of our classes we did all the logic gates and whatnot, and the way you did addition etc. was ... different, a lot like the LISP above but also that's similar to LDAP query syntax actually  :P

I'm glad calculators let us just punch it in [element1] [operation] [element2] ... rather than the more-consistent-with-what-happens-inside-the-machine's-brain [element1] [element2] [action] (or is it [action] [element1] [element2] ?) , otherwise they woulda never got popular outside of mathgeekdom!
