Interesting direction they're taking with their announcements... So, you no longer make a saving throw or die/turn to stone immediately. Instead, it takes a bit of time to turn to stone. Yeah, because it was unfair how the DM could just turn the characters to stone just like that! And now they're going to separate monsters into "solo" and non-"solo"?
Bah. I'll withhold judgement until the rules are out, but so far it just looks like they're making changes for the sake of making changes.
