This looks like it might be a sweet RTS: http://www.atari.com/actofwar/us/index.php

Reminds me of the good old Dune and C&C days.

Sure looks good.  Gonna have to add this to my list...Release Date: 03/15/2005...and NFO

The only game trailer in recent memory where I *immediately* watched it a second time. If the gameplay itself is fun, that one will be a winner, no question. Loved the movie cut scenes with all the stuff blowing up (especially the White House; reminded me of ID4 without the cheesy American speeches ;) )

Crap!  Okay, maybe not, but beyond the movies and the gimky GUI, the game is very thin, and has a distinct been there done that.

In a time where RTS have become whickedly complex and deep (Rise of Nations, Tropico, Startopia, etc), a simple C&C style game just dont float my boat anymore.

Based on you trying the demo? Looking at the screens? Or reading descriptions? What has revolted ye to such degree?

Im basing my quick and harsh comments off me downloading the full version (which took forever seeing as its like a 6GB download), and playing 3-4 hours of it.

Ouch. And double-ouch. And you know from games, you talking experienced boy :(

Ah well mebbe the demo is worth some fun; a little less of a download ;)
