Marvel Universe Online annonced (spawn of Microsoft, Marvel, and Cryptic?!?!)

Here's a story about the announcement today of Marvel Universe Online.  The game will be created by Cryptic (despite Marvel sueing them a few years ago for the City of Heroes character creation tool being two easy to break copyright with), and will be published exclusively on Windows Vista and the XBox360.  It has been noted on the CoH/CoV boards that several developers have dissapeared into a mysterious new project, and now we know what that is.  Only time will tell if this is another World of Warcraft, or a another Star Wars: Galaxies.

Marvel better start picking up it's properties and doing some good with them, their comics are spiraling into a vortex of crappyness.

Agreed! Really all you're getting with this is a "known" universe.

Otherwise, what class is Galactus, I want that!

I find it funny that the once sued by is now the developers for on this one.  Well guess there won't be any infringement now that they have the license for eh?
