Pastebin has been popular in IRC for some time now.

Indeed, any more than a couple lines on most channels and they get angry if you don't use a paste bin.

One of the channels I hang out in, says more than 4 lines, but many say ALL pastes, even 1-2 lines go to a paste bin. usually thats larger channels.
