Apparently this is a parody sci-fi film that's been in the works for 7 years, from all accounts it's pretty good stuff, check it out here:

WOW!

I thought you were referring to a silly animated Flash short series, but this actually looks like live action (trailer page) trying to capture the sparky-SFX, the uniforms, the everybody-is-humanoid alien species universe... If they have obvious social lessons and examples of The Human Spirit Overcoming Unbeatable Odds then it's like the followup to Enterprise ;)

Prolly WAY more watchable than "Star Wars: Revelations" that we endured a while back

The effects look great, at least in small quicktime window (ducked home at lunch, so I watched the trailer there).  I'm hoping bad acting is less of a problem when they're speaking Finnish.  We'll see.

It's actually a rather complex story, with good satire (even if you're not a big Babylon 5 fan you'll probably still chuckle at the obvious jabs) and you can barely tell some of the greenscreen scenes in the ships, that they were done literally one person at a time.

I gave it a 8/10 on IMDB, I kid you not. Worth the 95 minutes of reading subtitles and chuckling regularly :)

Also just heard of this one - it's like "ST:TOS Season 4"
