Sadly video doesn't work for me atm. At least if you have a newer version of skype. 2.2 for lunix crashes X when the video starts arriving, and 2.1 won't do video at all with newer clients.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

Ah it's well enough, I don't usually run video, just need audio while Minecrafting!

There's some really weird "recommended videos" next to these Minecraft videos...
Prayin' for a 20!

gcc thorin.c -pedantic -o Thorin
compile successful

Yeah, I don't get it at all (it may have to do with the popularity, but still lots of T&A for some reason).

What got me started was this:

Did my server not work out so well? Saw you connect a few times.

append: I have to make a trip to stupidstore or wallmart and homedespot today, so I'll be out till mid-late afternoon sadly.

Yeah I had a few Windows issues (turns out Minecraft hangs on Windows 7 64 bit if you don't have 64 bit Java installed).

Sort of a pain in the ass fix though:
-Download and install 64 bit Java
-Download the Minecraft JAR
-Create a shortcut that will invoke Minecraft using 64 bit Java

All my hanging/stuttering issues went away. The worst was the first time it happened, I got surrounded by baddies and things started to get all choppy (it was HORRIBLE). Then I started a creative session locally and got the same thing after roughly the same duration.

The game is pretty addictive (I played it all damn day), I need some gold and some more iron. I've almost got the monorail built :D

I'm going to have to think of more stuff to build with all the damn cobblestone I have lol

After I fill up a chest or two, I tend to just start leaving them on the ground or drop stacks of cobble into lava ;D

I guess I'll start smelting it into stone and make a more grandiose house haha.

I also found out that you can make instant crops with bonemeal (finally a use for the damn things).

On Sunday I spent some time in creative mode and figured out how powered rails and detector rails work, if I had enough iron I could make a roller coaster :D

Hey, have you guys found any dungeons yet?

This morning I learned all about redstone repeaters

Couple questions about the server:

1. Do you have a white list set?

2. Do you mind if I invite a few people?

No and no. But I expect people to be respectful of other people's stuff. Also I may be adding some mods to the server in the future.

White listing is rather easy, I got the idea after seeing so many bots crawling this thread, who knows what real life creepers might join in and mess with stuff

Ooh, which mods?
