That's pretty cool.  I wonder why they pour so much of the Mountain Dew out of the bottle?

Wonder if this works here since our Mountain Dew is slightly different then American Mountain Dew?

And according to the posters, it doesn't work.

If I remember right, the major differences between Canadian Mountain Dew and American Mountain Dew is the caffeine and maybe the  sweetener. The American version has HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) and caffeine. I know for sure the Canadian version doesn't have caffeine. I'm pretty sure that beverages that use high amounts of HFCS don't pass the bar with the CRC so they use an alternative like cane sugar.

Neither of those ingredient differences would impact the creation of a phosphorescent reaction and there's no ingredient unique to Mountain Dew that would create a glow when mixed with hydrogen peroxide. Hoooooooooooax!
