Zune Music Service is Dead

Apparently they folded "Zune Pass" into "Xbox Music Pass" so if you HAD a Zune Pass you should still have all your stuff.

When I read about it it sounded like you lose a bunch of features, and its possible some music will just go away... Services can really suck.

From what I was reading this morning Pass users were given the option to download DRM-free MP3s over the locked-in WMA files

Ah, thats not bad then. at least you can get your music out of it. Some of the features you're losing kinda suck.

That's for sure. Content services are a double edged sword.

I've had my share of issues with Google Play, I changed my default email on my phone profile and it wouldn't let me play the album I had bought (even though those emails are linked)

At least they let me download a DRM unencumbered version of it, it took me a while to figure out
