Happy birthday!  I didn't realize it was today?  Man, you're getting old now.

HBD fellow Aquarian! You're still younger than me... But to help make you feel old, in just over a week my son will be turning almost the age you were when we first met!  :o

If you want him to feel old, just point out he's now halfway to the late retirement age...

He shared a birthday with D&D (which turned 40 yesterday)

Connecting feeling old and D&D turning 40 ... until 30 seconds ago I did know that "TSR" stood for " Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. "

At the time I first heard of D&D I was doing some self-learning of ASSEMBLY* LANGUAGE so "TSR" was "Terminate and Stay Resident" in my brain (and I never bothered to update that mental entry, until now.) (unlike "TRS" which is likely the same thing in your brains as it is in mine (http://www.zdnet.com/dead-it-giants-a-top-10-of-the-fallen_p7-3040090912/))

PS: and re. D&D, why does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Gygax gets all the credit and respect, why not also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Arneson ?

* the reason I say "feeling old" is that the Assembly was *6502* -- Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6502) says "When it was introduced in 1975, the 6502 was, by a considerable margin, the least expensive full-featured microprocessor on the market" ... I think the book was one of these relics (https://www.google.ca/search?q=6502+assembly+language+programming&tbm=isch) , and this actually kinda makes sense to me, still (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/6502_Assembly#Instructions) (although I haven't touched the stuff for over 25 years! (understanding these concepts kinda helped when learning C/C++ though) )
