This is a video that shows adults what it's like to be a little kid stepping out onto full-sized ice rinks to play hockey (or ringette): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXhxNq59pWg
It's eye-opening...
Olympic-sized? ;)
NHL size is 200'x85', Olympic size is 200'x100', the one in the video is 310'x130' or roughly 1.5 times the NHL sized rink. Which is about right, an eight year old is about 4' and grows to about 6', 1.5x, as an adult. The nets are 6'x12' instead of 4'x8', again, 1.5x.
