At least they are using interesting ingredients to make it black. In NA they would probably just dump black dye number one in it, but Japan uses squid ink and Charcoal.

That's what prompted me to share it -- I knew someone would catch that little detail.
Apparently the charcoal alters the taste enough that some folks develop a taste for it...
