Looks really really bad... O the voice over..

Also it was shot in the summer and rushed out for Christmas so expect to see some continuity issues with the weather unless they claim it takes place somewhere warm in the story.

Augh, prepare the "worst ever" list of films for a new entry...

Shocked u guyz be shocked.

Look at where that IS:

https://www.youtube.com/user/Lifetime/videos

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifetime_%28TV_network%29#In_popular_culture
An episode of Family Guy once parodied the network's most notable slogan ("Television for Women"), calling it "Lifetime: Television for Idiots"; "Movin' Out (Brian's Song)", a later episode of that series, showed one of the main characters watching a film which oversimplified the themes commonly featured in the channel's made-for-cable movies starring Valerie Bertinelli called Men are Terrible and Will Hurt You Because This is Lifetime.

Bar. It is lowered.

They should have produced it as "MEME MOVIE" (not unlike Scary Movie, etc)

and just killed all memes in one fel swoop

In Feb.2014 they did a new one paying respect to 8bit gaming and the music therein:

Sharknado and Malibu Shark Attack (with the supposedly-prehistoric goblin sharks) were terrible, horrible, and probably still better than this will be.

The sad thing is those other films were designed from the ground up to be b-movie homages. This is kind of like an actual, intentional b-movie, produced cheaply but with enough grab on something else that's popular to pull in an audience (which I fully expect will recoup the production cost easily)

Thinking about it now it's actually somewhat quaint that something as disposable as this can even exist. It's the "Invisible Boy" (1957) of our time (mish-mash of pop culture stuff + low budget + aimed at kids)

So weird.

But if they aired on the LIFETIME tv network then somehow it would all be some selfish man's fault.

PS: talking 'bout B-movies (intentional or not) it's just a sign of the times, folks, sadly. I mean heck they made a FRED movie! Oh wait HOLY SIGNS OF THE END TIMES Batman, they did a little bit more than just a movie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Figglehorn). Planet, not wanting to live on it no more...

Please don't remind me

The man had a chart topping song (US Holiday, 2009)

People like what they like but jeesh, it's scary at times

Quite the gap between critical score and user score!

I saw a movie called Vehicle 19 last night.. I'd rate it along the same as a movie I tried watching a few months ago called "Driver". Ugh. Decent production values, but the directors must have been noobs. the pacing was all wrong. Got boring very quickly more than once. I suspect Grumpy Cat might be a better movie.

Less of a gap on that one, pretty low all around

Conversely I watched The Bourne Identity for the first time yesterday... it was amazing

I have no idea why I've never seen any of these films before

The Bourne Trilogy is freaking awesome.

There are parts of the Bourne Trilogy where "shaky cam" seems more like "the camera man was an epileptic in the middle of a grand mal seizure".

The story is great, the action is great, the acting is wonderful, just...  god-damn shaky cam.

I got to see a Grumpy Cat "special" on lifetime today. I think it's better than the movie. lol. Was the actress trying to get into the mind of the cat. get "grumpy" or sarcastic, etc.

"a marvel of anti-comedy, making Worst Christmas into a cross between a crass piece of holiday marketing and the kind of thing that might air on Adult Swim in the middle of the night."
- one review (http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/ae/film/2014/nov/26/review-grumpy-cat-worst-christmas-ever-lifetime-tv/)

(thanks for saving me the time to even watch the trailer, reviewer!) (because I was considering giving it a shot when I saw the inimitable Aubrey Plaza (aka April on Parks & Rec) was brillianty cast as the "voice" of GC!) (but that's not enough!)

I mentioned them before, but I suspect the "specials" (behind the scenes like stuff) they aired on Lifetime out here to advertise the movie were better than the movie.

I have seen it... It isn't unwatchable but at the same time isn't good that is for sure..

Reminds me of home alone actually... but not the good parts.
