Yes, that's right, thanks to the success of Garfield and then The Smurfs and whatnot, a feature length appearance of "Good Ol' Charlie Brown" is coming soon to theatres. And in the trailer it shows very clearly that children bullying one target = timeless wonder and joy of youth. Or something.
Fascinating contradictory juxtaposition: The Sony/TheInterview article talks about how we should not stand up to bullies if they are heavily armed and likely to use them against you , while perhaps in the Peanuts film Chuck at some point does a modern-age thing and holds up a mirror to the verbal abusing "friends" and lets them see what a bunch of dicks they often are at his expense? (and maybe as well done as in the 3rd act in "21 Jump Street", yes that's right, I went there).
