Title: typical Canadian, gets out the snow shovel and gets to work
Post by: Thorin on February 18, 2015, 02:52:31 PM
PEI (and the whole east coast) just saw a large amount of snow.  Charlottetown Airport saw about 87 centimeters on Sunday and Monday.  It's been quite the ordeal for them, actually.  Imagine fresh snow up to your waist.  Anyway, this one guy, he's got large drifts that are much taller than his waist, so he tunneled through them:

Ya, I think people out side of Canada have a hard time understanding how BIG and how different the weather can be.

Boston is full of snow.  They have snow farms.  At their snow farms, they use snow melters to melt the snow so it goes away.
