I don't even have to click the links right now, these are the RIDICULOUSLY LONG AND DETAILED commentaries right?
Of course, these are the quintessential Mr. Plinkett reviews, the detail and accuracy of why these film stink it put across so plainly and entertainingly... and they end up creating a narrative story throughout all the "reviews"
Good if you have 4-5 hours to kill

I am REALLY tempted to rate it a 1 just to balance out this disturbance in the universe.
The movie has already premi?red. It's theoretically possible that many people have seen it.
Sure, and it's theoretically possible that the ratings would be way less polarized if they were based on people actually viewing the damn thing.
Just saying, it's funny how IMDB lets you rate something before it's actually released.
btw isn't it hilarious how "Memory [A-]Hole" the SW legal suits are capable being?

There's "protecting" your intellectual property... and then there's punishing someone who actually BUYS your product and wants to get others excited about buying it as well.

That's not how IMDB works ;) It's always based on people's fears, hopes and dreams.
So you are saying IMDB is a politician's career?

Spoilers are disappointingly non-spoilerific.
Also, why did I take the risk? I guess I looked at the calendar and saw the damn thing ain't out yet... ;)
24 hours from worldwide release, what's left to do to "prep"?

Bad Lip Reading of course!

*ahem* speaking of Mr. Plinkett reviews...
\o/ !New! !Video! !Today! \o/
Only 58 minutes in length, for his ... anal-ysis ... of The Last Jedi, published literally moments ago (aka today).
And early on there's even a funny-cuz-it's-true-kinda "Bad Lip Reading" moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f83D18xL7VE#3m36s
90 seconds in and already smiling, it is clearly CLASSIC FORM from the RLM boys. Thumbs up = more than 20k. Did I mention this video was published *today*?
MY OTHER SON!
I watched it after work and man it nailed so many things as always. They've done more in-depth reviews already scattered through a few videos and a lot of this was summarized here but yeah...
ALSO if they had cut the movie where Mr. Plinkett says it would have been AWESOME
That 58 minutes just flew by, sooo good.
It was almost like you could feel the RLM guys pain in what was written in this episode of Mr. Plinkett -- they really WANTED to enjoy the film more than they did, but [his son] made that impossible. :( But at least you got to laugh plenty of times at all the madcap farcical comedy moments that we expected... oh, wait.
.......
@sangivstheworld
did the RLM video make it worse?
@mikeyface **
Yes.
**aka "Movies With Mikey" / "FilmJoy" (https://twitter.com/mikeyface/status/1034869422836654081) -- where he typically spits out 5k-10k words per video (see the jaw-droppingly excellent treatment of "John Wick (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3P1ejh9pGs)" for example).
Congrats RLM, you You have done the impossible, and that makes you mighty.
These guys are so on the nose with this stuff but rather than just gripe they show how something so destroyed could be fixed and I think that's what separates them from the rest. It's constructive criticism at its best IMO
Speaking of on the nose criticisms...
Wow, the "weaponized light speed" canon-destroying plot point in The Last Jedi is ... well, canon-destroying.
Didn't realize until reading this:
https://medium.com/@matthewkadish/how-the-last-jedi-destroyed-the-continuity-of-star-wars-storycraft-53f24c00ef29
aka "Why The Holdo Maneuver Is Catastrophic For Star Wars"
Now I can't un-realize it.
Well done, son-of-Plinkett!
