Hey Mr. Site-admin, tell us the answer please? According to your logs what is the rundown on browser activity here on the forum?
The board does not record that type of data. I can tell you at my router what browsers are hitting my web farm, but that includes may sites, not just this one.
Here are some stats I can give you from the board logs:

Well I tend to use IE at work and FF at home.. I think I post more from IE than FF. That might change now that I don't do development work.
so you have apache right? parse the apache log with any number of stats generation tools.
http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ is what we provide all of our clients with at no charge. Works like a hot damn.
Can't as I use Apache Proxy, which logs incoming and outgoing but this server hosts more than one website, so I still couldn't get you accurate results.
each website can have its own httpd.log
The web logs on the server hosting RW will still show the proper browser information, only the source-IP of every user is lost going through the proxy.
Aye and this is a Windows box, so if you have any suggestions on software to go through IIS logs that would be great. Only my router is Apache.
OK and where do I get the Perl Interpriter it says it needs?
You know...http://www.weblogexpert.com/ is probably okay for you. I use it (for my personal server), i paid for it. They have a powerful demo of the pro, and a free lite verison. Check it out, upload the HTML results, and give us the link
Well here ya go, although some of the stats aren't going to be very accurate (being that these can be from hits in my network and that everything outside comes from the same IP - my router):
Righteous Wrath Main SiteRighteous Wrath ForumsThx for the link btw Shayne, easy tool to use and free on the lite version.
Hah! 30 hits from Lynx!
I think I might be responsible for 8% of all the firfox hits lol (j/k)
I was actually surprised by the amount of people coming from Mac OS to the site. And who the hell is running Internet Explorer 8.x?

If the stats are based on the client string it could be a an Opera or Mozilla browser using a client spoof option.
In case you're curious - some stats for www.dc5ab.com (also hosted by Melbosa, on a diff server at his place, proxied through the same apache gateway at the firewall) Again - stats on users/visitors are screwed because everyone appears to connect from his firewall internal IP.

Edit: thing I found most interesting - how many of the top searches people use to get to our website are more about women than cars...

I was curious the other day about the likely-Babylon5-or-StarTrek origin of "Ustauk", and it seems our friend is the creator of the name (correct me if I am wrong, bud!) but it looks like RW is definitely
well-Googled!

Ustauk is an appellation that I made up a while back. I originally spelled it Ustak, but the way it was pronounced didn't sound right, so I added the u. I first started using Ustak as my call sign in X-Wing versus TIE Fighter, and have used it as an alias in gaming and other places ever since.
