Fantastic. Saw it lastnight at a WB screening session (sorry, everyone i manged to get only 2 double guest passes, and the other was spoken for).
By far and away, the best comic -> movie film created. Its dark, fast, and very well layed out. ****/5
OH man, sounds cool. I have a disc golf tourney this weekend maybe I'll go next week sometime.

Right after work, downtown?
I'm there.
Not a big "batman" fan, but a fan of recent modern "comic conversion" films, specifically HULK and SINCITY - just love the whole immersion-in-the-comic-universe feel - mayhap "L'homme de bat Depart" est jus as bon? :) <-- sorry for the Frenglish, I think the Chinese food I ate last night isn't sitting with me well (in fact I have been doing a lot of "sitting" today because of it, knowwhatimeanvern?) so my brain is kinda fried right now... :P

 WTF  That movie was a flaming pile of..
*feigns shock at hearing some didn't like Hulk* What can I say? Over the top comicbook acting + very cool comicbook moving panels editing + Ms. Connely = enjoyed watching. Potayto, Potahto...
Will we be dining at the Elephant and Castle and then going for the 7:00 PM show at Edmonton City Centre?
No no no... L'azia, much better (and the same prices or lower) and the ninjas are less uppity.
And yes, the Hulk sucked hard...

It had me to the halfway point, then all I could think of was Stewie with a backpack over one shoulder trying to hitch-hike...
Doh! I missed this :( Anyone else not seen it and want to go? (I hate going alone :D)

K, see you there, around 5:30 I imagine.
5:30, is that restaurant the one in Eaton Centre where 102 street comes up (south entrance)?
PS: but, BUT...
CONNELLY! ;) Okay, I'm done with this
Yes, L'asia can be found on the ground floor near the south exit.
- Walk down to The Bay
- You should see a hall leading South from the elevators
- You will see L'asia to the left of the doors
You can get jugs of Heineken while staring at other "jugs"...

Everybody sing!
"Down to the Bay...
Where the watermelons grow...
Back to my car...
I dare not go...
For if I do...
My friends will say...
It's freakin' opening night, get your butt in a seat while it's still early!"

PS: King Roger likes the New Dark Knight -

Saw it tonight with Mr. Analog and Darren. I have to agree with Shayne's assessment. Great story, great actors, great action.
Run, don't walk and see this excellent adaption of Batman!
R0ck3d. I gave it 9/10 on IMDB (it was a teeny tiny bit slow in some of the earlier background/flashback scenes).
Chris Nolan pwns!
