I've narrowed it down to telus linked images. So anyone who is on Telus and has linked an image from there on either their post or their signature, and it appears in the thread you are viewing, it causes the thread to take a while to render.
??? So only Telus hosted images can be linked now?
Mr.A's avatar is missing on my screen.
??? Huh???
What I am saying is that if a linked image (using the [IMG] tag) comes from a Telus IP, your browser is waiting for a reply from that Telus IP while rendering a thread with that image in it, which is taking a while. Nothing I can do about it.
Threads that do not have any images linked to a Telus IP load fast and fine.
Yeah, I think Melbosa was saying that if a page has any links to Telus then it will *experience* a problem, not avoid it...
Mr. A, in case you somehow aren't seeing it:

Only images, links are fine cause they don't render from an off-server IP in telus domain until you click on them. Images do.
Telus should have it fixed eventually. Also if your work or home has a proxy system, and you get a copy of the images, then it should also work fine.

Hmm, either:
A ). My server is down

B ). eMule is sucking all my bandwidth at home...
I guess I put up a temp for now, I still see my images, thanks to cache however...

lol :D
The only linked rendered content you can have is images on the forums. If you link a webpage, its just a hyperlink till you click on it, which opens it in a new window. If you quote you are just pasting text. If you add an email address its just a mailto: tag. Etc.
So yeah the only issue is with Images linked directly from a Telus IP.
Turns out it was C ). forgot to update DynDNS again...
Oh kewl, thought it was all of Telus IP range problem.

DynDNS updater works awesome, especially if you (like me) have a 300 second TTL... If you don't have one, I will email you the name of the one I use for
squisher.homeip.netIrony, I just tried S.HI.N and it's down too... but
