QuoteMark Jung, IGN Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We believe that Fox Interactive Media is an ideal fit with IGN Entertainment. With this combination, our users will enjoy access to a broad array of content and services covering video games, music, movies, sports and news, and our advertisers will benefit from enormous reach into a highly sought-after demographic. We are thrilled with this acquisition and can't wait to get started."

Holy crap, does that mean that they'll bring the "Fox News" approach to game review? Yikes.

Post: Ugh... does that mean VE3D will be mind controlled by Fox News now?

Response: No, FOX outsources mind control.

An excellent aquisition and im suprised IGN has stayed out of such a take over for long.

IN regards to fox being evil...yup.  totally.  however for sports news, foxsports.com is fantastic, and i visit it more often then i visit ESPN.

As for having the websites converted to take on a Fox like approach, i couldnt see that.  Far to many employees and assets.  Could be wrong, but then again its yet another reason to not use gamespy.
