I'm a ball fan and I did manage to catch the end of the game last night (after the CoV beta conclusion) it was a pretty good game from most people's reckoning, it was great to see the Houston Astros go so far, they had a great team and lot of guts, but not enough to beat Chicago!
My sports sources say it ranks in the top 3 worst world series ever.
I dont watch baseball as i find it very boring, and games become meaningless when you play 168 of them (sometimes more then one a day).
After saying that, i do like to see teams win after long stetches, and im not sure there are many as long as what the White Sox had on the go.
It was a battle of pitchers and a very tough game for both teams.
...it feels wrong to say that it was a battle of pitchers, yet Clemens played for 2 innings :P
From the descriptions I've heard, it was a game akin to the record-length Houston / LA game, which was a very entertaining battle of pitching skill after the 10th inning.
Also, it's good to see Chicago win again (last time was 1917).
