This is just a fun little web toy for when you get bored. It's pretty simple. It's based on some researcher that stated, you can raed any txet eevn if the lteters isndie are all jmbleud up, as lnog as the frist and lsat ltteers are in tiehr rhgit pcleas. :)
Ejnoy! (http://kinezo.com/wwwhat/randomulator/)
I dnnuo MrA, im not srue taht tnhig wrkos the way its sopuepsd to. Smoe wdors i tepyd in taht eevn konw i konw the wrod, cmae out in a way taht i cunlodt raed it.
LOL, I could read everything you put there :)
I must be crazy.
This only works for words you're used to. When you Randomulate "Randomulate", you get a word that is not instantly recognizable.
When I first heard of that study or whatever, I let my insane OCDness take over and did up a JS bookmarklet version of that, sorta. But instead of just being completely randomly mixed up, it had a bit of an algorithm (based on # of letters in a 4+letter word) so it could be "unmixedup" if needed; so it was sorta-human-readable output but not machine-readable (i.e. ECHELON, Kiss My Ash!) yet could be reverted back to original if necessary.
Maybe I'll find it at home tonight if I remember, pretty neat little toy ;)
Anyone else annoyed that this guy is doing the mixing up SERVER SIDE? I mean, yeesh, how complex could the algo be, ya trying to hide yer genius or something buddy?[/cynical]
