An interesting Xmas it was.  I'm engaged.  After 6 years of being with Alyson I decided to finally pop the question.  Without hesitation she said yes.



When the last gift was openned i said that their was one more, took out the ring and asked her to marry me.  A total suprise to my family, and before i had asked the question my mom and sister were in tears.

Welcome (almost) to the blissfully wedded side, Shayne.  Don't watch any Bridezilla shows for the next while, they'll probably scare the pants off you :wink:

Up here in St. Albert they're putting on a fireworks show for the kids at 8:30pm.  We'll be going to that for sure, no matter what the weather - it's within walking distance.  I doubt we'll be staying up until midnight, though...
