If you grab a lot of stuffs from the eDonkey2K network you probably know about Razorback2 (well, I know I do), well their servers were seized (http://slyck.com/news.php?story=1102) by Belgian Federal police for piracy violations (it would seem).

Ouch, that is a stab at the ed2k core, but there are SOOOO many other servers it might go unnoticed, it just happend to be the most popular and highest capacity server..
Much like a Bittorrent site a ed2k server does not host ANY FILES, it just works as an index and matchmaker.. Although that is how napster also worked. Unlike BT there is little legitimate use defence for ed2k.
I suspect all the guys who were connecting to those servers will just switch the next high capacity server. But we'll see I guess, they had a good ping and usually over a million users so there was lots of sources etc.
