Title: Dragon's Lair
Post by: Lazybones on April 20, 2006, 10:04:48 PM
I remember seeing people play it an think it was cool but after trying to play it my self I hated the fact it was just an expensive memory twitch game..

If you ever wondered how it all played out perfect, take a look at this.

The game is surprisingly long.

Man that brings up memories...

(!) I remember actually seeing someone playing for real and they had gotten to the part with the glowing spectral sword and anvil, and right after that is the legless horse riding part... wow, I didn't realize that was only approx. 55% of the way through :o

[watched some more] Oh wait! "ye boulders" and "ye rapids" and "ye whirlpools", yup I remember seeing that part as well... was this game totally linear, i.e. always the same "levels" in the same order, or were some parts randomly arranged? Cuz a lot so far is not familiar to me, but I remember seeing the barrel-in-the-rapids part quite a few times :-|

...one thing for sure, it would be neat to see a video with nothing but the hundreds of creative DEATH SCENES from this classic game (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0125065/) :D
