Would be nifty. A heck of a lot of story to cover though i guess they could do this through a simple intro. Definatly a 3 hour epic type movie.
Probably should split it into 3 movies...
Otherwise 3 hours is too long for most movie go-ers.

And yet King Kong made millions upon millions of dollars with a run-time of 187 minutes...
Meh.

"The always-busy Steven Spielberg seems to have settled on his next directorial project. It'll be an outer-space adventure that deals with wormholes, black holes, and space travel ... based on actual science!
From The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117945326?categoryid=13&cs=1): "Paramount Pictures and Steven Spielberg will develop a space travel story about a group of explorers who travel through a worm hole and into another dimension. Spielberg hopes to direct the film, which Lynda Obst will produce.
Project, in a nascent stage, is anchored in real science. It was derived from a treatment by Kip S. Thorne, a Caltech physicist who's an expert on relativity. Thorne is most famous for his controversial theory that wormholes not only exist but can be accessed and used as portals for time travel."
Who knows, result might be like "Buckaroo Bonzai Redux: A Brief History of Contact Lost in Time-Space Distortions Through the Wormhole Glass" 8)
Its...like....almost...Lost in Space

Schindler's List - 195 min
Saving Private Ryan - 170 min
I see your naming all the ones that did well in the box office... but how about all the ones that didn't do so well.
Godzilla 140 min. Nuff Said.
It's hard to find a site with just runtimes :D.
I just looked at Mr. Spielberg's past record :) I could start posting the LotR movies as well :)

...here's how the stupid talk on both "Warcraft" and "Angels" seems to have come to pass. One supposedly reputable source makes a story up from thin air. From there, one or two readers pass the information on to other film websites, where the information gets regurgitated without any or little question. And then it spreads.
Ah, what a simple yet dependable formula for a bbs geek to get his 15 minutes! ::)
I say hire Se?or Spielbergo, the Mexican non-union equivilant!

Miss Information: "I hate you, Mr. Analog!"
Mr. Analog: "But... I am your source!"
Both: "NOOOOOOOO!"
Ah the internet, spreading rumors at the speed of light. I guess the only saving grace is that you can use the same medium to kill the rumors just as fast.
