Gibbs makes several cool Amphibious vehicles
Neat, but too low to the ground to do serious offroading, I think.
Something like that would have been great up at the lake, assuming it's 4wd at least. Our neighbor up there had a 2wd quad and it would get stuck in the sand on the beach all the time. Besides a great toy on the water, beach, yard, etc. having a quad in places like that is always handy for work purposes as well - pulling the boat-lift and docks into/out of the lake every year, hauling some firewood around, etc.
But Ustauk is right - that thing wouldn't get 10 feet down the kind of trails I take my dirt-bike on before it bottomed out. Even the real off-road quads get a LOT of use our of their skid-plates out on the trails, and they have double or triple the ground clearance that thing does.
But as a primarily water-toy that can also be used on flat ground near the water-source, I think it has potential.
I agree, but again. Out at a cabin near a lake it would be a great multi use vehical to have.
I like their sports car better however.
