Shed a tear for VHS, won't you?

Pretty well done, so good, I'll set my calendar to 1983 and forget the last two decades, and I no longer feel safe with so many shiny discs in my house... ;)

Bonus points if you recognize some of the background music from Transformers the Movie.

EDIT: 8 year update! The link has moved -> http://www.musclebeaver.com/index.php?/video/world-of-video/

Found by trying to find conversation about logos

That was AMAZING, actually! Love the decapitations... So cheesy, it could be taken seriously by those who don't know any better... (PS: Dynasty had such cool fades and transitions in its intro 8) ;) )

Also on the same site, presumably same author -- some more amazing video effects, with some haunting music: http://www.musclebeaver.com/_downloads/_av/koibrand/koibrand.html (some kinda artsy collection of logos and corporate branding and stuff?)

Hilarious.  Nice find.  Was thinking about showing my kids until the decapitation of the puppy :P

Umm... but you were *okay* with the child's ARM being sliced off ever-so-cleanly? ;)

So, I found out exactly what song the guy used, it's called "Escape" by Vince DiCola and I was right, it's from the Transformers soundtrack...

Now, a life I should get... yes!
