Finally got my new monitor, revision 3 of the 2407FPW. No dead pixels, no stuck pixels, basically perfect as far as I can tell.
Did some wide screen gaming last night, was pretty damn tight I'm going to give WoW another go but in uber resolution :)
so... can I just have the old monitor :). Very cool Shayne.
liking the desk too :)
Sweet... drool.... sweet.
I like the new desk too.
A couple of months ago we got 2407FPB monitors at work, which I think is the business variant of yours. It was a pleasant surprise when I came to work that day to see a monster monitor on my desktop; when I heard everyone was getting upgraded to LCDs, I thought it be the 17" on some of the newer machines had. I guess Dell must have given us a deal :) For 2d applications its been a dream. I treasure the amount of desktop space I have now. I can't attest to any gaming performance, but I'm sure it'll work well for that too. Great purchase, Shayne! :)
How tall is that desk? And where'd you get it?
Also, cool monitor!
Wow, that's the tidiest computer desk I've ever seen... :)
The desk is very height adjustable and i got it at Ikea.
Cool, thanks!
Speaking of desks, I want one of these:

Or something along the same lines.

I was thinking of that one, but then I saw it at Staples, it's very low to the floor.
I got this one...
