GREAT news, this should mean a stronger story, instead of filler to stretch things out.
Yay. I'll definitely have to catch up then and start watching the new season once it comes out. I hate artificially drawn out shows.
I was worried it would:
a) Drag on and on
b) Turn into "Battlestar 80"
*shudder*
They touched on a point a little there, but also missed a bit that I read elsewhere. That being that the show was always meant to have the end driven by the story - not by the finances of the publisher or other external factors. This is a good thiing, and is why all the responses in this thread so far have been mostly positive.
What that article didn't mention, was that up until very recently they were undecided if it was going to be 1 more season to close the story, or 2 more. Personally, I think I would rather have had 5 seasons than 4. More of a good thing, while still maintaining that it is a good thing rather than extending it on and on.
Anyways - I still can't wait to see the rest of it.
