Just to describe this more, this video predates what most people would know about the "internet" and conceptualizes it fairly accurately.

This is a prospective documentary that has now become a historical prospective documentary (on an island, in a lake (http://www.elbruz.org/islands/Islands%20and%20Lakes.htm)). We've come a long way and one concept is absoloutely as true in this video as it is now. Once you get into it, I mean really get into it; the linkage and correlation of facts, information, media, and hypertextual content starts to become a natural and desireable goal. The more of anything that is available, the more we ask and search.

LOL, just replace the word "information" with "porn" and it makes perfect sense...
