As a long time Whovian I am very sceptical of this rumour, but one never knows. With the stellar success and high quality of the current Dr. Who run I think the timing may (finally) be right.

So long as it doesn't destroy or change a bunch of the lore built up over the years... But yeah, I'd probably go see it in the theater.
