So you linux people out there, I need to know a decent FTP Server for linux to use. These are the features I am looking for:
- GUI Interface without need for KDE or X - Maybe a 32bit client for Windows to manage or web interface
- Bandwidth limits for upload
- User/Group Management - prefer it has its own user/group DB outside of the filesystem one
- Auto-Banning based on brute force attacks
- Easy to configure/use for setting up folder structures and virtual/physical paths
Anyone have any ideas?
The best I think you'll get is proftpd or pureftpd with webmin.

That is all I can think of as well, however it isn't so much a GUI for ProFTP, you still have to do lots of text file edits to make it do what you want.
There has to be a decent ftp config module for webmin that lets you skip all of the config editing, otherwise, whats the point of webmin? :o
Then again, I haven't looked in a while.

I haven't looked for a while as well, but I have never found the Web min modules very Complete UIs, they often just automate the task of filling in lists and very basic info.
